Top 3 Appliances For a New Home

Moving to a new house in order to live alone can be really tricky, especially if you are a student. There are many things that you need to consider in order to be prepared for the total amount of money that you will need to spend. Also, you can get a glimpse on how your life is going to be and how much money you are going to need every month for your expenses.

Since I recently moved to a new house for the first time, I will try to share my experience on how to choose some of the most essential house appliances that you will need.

1. The right Vacuum cleaner

If you are like me, you want to have a really clean house where you can invite your friends over in order to watch a movie or hang out. If you are a girl, or if you have a pet you know that hair can be found everywhere and that they are really annoying and hard to clean especially if you have carpets like I do. After a thorough search I found the top rated vacuums for carpets and rugs that helped me choose which vacuum is the best one for my place.

2. Coffee Maker

I cannot imagine myself waking up in the morning without drinking a cup of coffee. I bet that you are like me. As a student, I cannot afford buying coffee from the university’s cafeteria every single day. That is why I have chosen to buy a coffee maker. Thus, I can make my own coffee, the way I like it and save some money. I can even invite friends at home in order to spend some time together and offer them a cup of coffee. For sure it will save you a lot of money that you can spend on other activities.

3. Microwave oven

Like most students, I do not really like cooking and most of the days I do not have the necessary time to prepare something nice. Especially during the exam period, I am so busy that sometimes I forget that I need to eat. So having a microwave oven can be really helpful for the times that you need to eat something really quickly and you do not have the time to wait. Usually I buy pre-baked food from the supermarket (mostly pizzas and hamburgers) and I keep them in my refrigerator and I bake them in the microwave oven. They are ready in  just a few minutes and really tasty.

Of course there are more things to take into consideration where deciding to live alone and you need to be prepared for any extra costs that might occur. From my point of view the abovementioned appliances are the first and most essential things you need to buy in order to be able to live in your house. After that you can purchase any other items you might need when you have the necessary amount of money.
